This very complex Quartz spent 10 months on yeast lees in French barrels, of which 25% were new, and was bottled in late February. The 2024 is a beautiful Quartz Chardonnay. It is already showing remarkable complexity, with cashew, fig, flint, cream, spice, grapefruit and orange blossom evident. The palate is concentrated, intense, mouth filling, textured, chalky, dry, harmonious and very long. These wines begin to drink at their best after five years in bottle and for a decade beyond that. - Michael Dhillon, Winemaker
