The 2023 Mâcon-Milly-Lamartine Montagne de Cra is a blend of young and old vines, fermented and aged in 350-liter casks. It has a pretty nose, perhaps not quite as complex as the previous vintage. The palate has a rounded texture, leaning slightly towards a tropical style. I'm seeking a touch more tension on the finish. Drink over the next 3-4 years.
