Chavy’s entry wine comes from parcels adjoining Puligny AC. Élevage is careful: three-quarters in older barrels, the rest in tank, with no new oak. After eleven months in wood and another seven in steel, the wine emerges finely etched—crunchy mineral acidity allied to smells of stone fruit and nut. A model of clarity and value.
The 2023 iteration posseses notable mineral and crystalline qualities with a well-measured dash of acidity. Beautiful aromatics of ripe fruit and hazelnut suggest a Bourgogne of class.
