Clavoillons Premier Cru sits at the heart of Puligny, bracketed by Perrières on one side and Les Pucelles on the other, with Folatières rising just above. Two families tend its 5.58 hectares: the Leflaive dynasty controls the lion’s share, while Jean-Louis Chavy farms 0.32 hectares of vines planted in 1952. This mid-slope parcel brings breadth and generosity compared with the higher, tighter Folatières. The resulting wine shows dense aromatics, a buzzing core of acidity, zesty minerality, and a finish of lingering citrus.
