With extra time on the vine this year, the Nebbiolo has some immediate appeal with good mid-palate weight on the ready. Like every decent Nebb though, some air generates a fragrant bloom in the glass, for me today, violet and cola, ripe raspberry along with minerals on the darker register drawn from the granitic soils. While there is some generosity on the palate, it's all underpinned by a taut line of acid tension and present tannins.
