This square Clos is a plot near 1er Cru Grand Clos Rousseau and the church. The vines are 20+yo, These grapes are destemmed, and the wine is given 20% new oak. It has impressive and (to me) surprisingly good energy, vibrancy, pinot purity and chewy structure. 

'An even magenta colour. No reduction here on the nose so the pure raspberry/dark cherry fruit can blossom. Some fruit tension along with a few tannins. The centre needs rounding out but the fruit should be up to the task. Medium plus length. Drink from 2028-2031. Tasted Oct 2025.' 88-89 Points - Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy
