2026 Rieslingfreak No.8 Polish Hill 'Schatzkammer' Riesling 750mL

The 2026 growing season provided almost perfect conditions leading into harvest, with slow and steady ripening setting the stage for an outstanding year for Riesling. Vintage began on 5 March, four weeks later than 2025, before almost 90mm of rain fell in just 48 hours.

Through careful vineyard management and quick decision-making in the winery, John and the Rieslingfreak team have delivered what they describe as some of the purest expressions of Riesling they have ever seen - a remarkable collection defined by refined elegance, purity, power and poise.

The No.8 is a beautifully balanced, low-alcohol style with lemon sherbet, guava and hibiscus, where luscious tropical and citrus flavours meet succulent sweetness and electric acidity on a knife-edge of precision.
