2022 Mugneret-Gibourg Clos Vougeot Grand Cru 750ml Bottle

Planted in 1954 and 1964, yielding 45 hl/ha at 13.4% alcohol. A solid bright ruby in colour. The bouquet offers the typical density of Clos Vougeot in a fine vintage, with some darker berries, and a very light chocolate note. Fills the palate from the very start then shows an extra lift on the second half, pretty red fruit, yet with a solid dense approach. Drink from 2032-2040. Tasted Nov 2023. 94-97 Points.
