"A blend of Les Levrons and Nosroyes, both planted in 1952. Curiosuly, this comes from a type of chardonnay which has a red stem and so is known as Chardonnay à Queue Rouge. An even mid lemon yellow. The nose has a soft generosity of orchard fruit, without the citrus touch. The wine keeps expanding on the palate, with an essential thread of acidity to maintain freshness and deliver backbone.
