"The 2023 Savigny-lès-Beaune Aux Vergelesses 1er Cru comes from a 0.58ha parcel planted in 1989 and 1999. It has a pixelated bouquet with white peach, light lemon zest aromas and a touch of oyster shell. The palate is well balanced with impressive weight and concentration. Dried honey and quince notes appear with some mineralité tucked in just underneath. 
This is the dark horse of the range - don't ignore this."
