This is an insider’s wine—a true gem in Australian Pinot Noir. With each passing year, the maturing vines and Kevin and Tricia's commitment to the vineyard and minimalist, classical winemaking elevate these wines to ever greater heights. The 2023 vintage, the latest peak, is noble and restrained, with fanning tannins that are genuinely thrilling.

2023 Hurley Vineyard Estate Pinot Noir - $70
When the vintage demands it, Kevin produces an 'estate' wine, it's a barrel selection of the three sites and this wine still assemblage very much expresses the hallmark aroma, flavour and structure of Hurley. Red fruits, raspberries, charcuterie, pomegranate. Crunchy and yes, the remarkable feathery tannin of the vintage. Take advantage of a the vintage and the availability of this classy wine.

2023 Hurley Vineyard Lodestone Pinot Noir - $90
Leading with the darker red fruits; cherry, plum, rhubarb and pomegranate, the Lodestone is a bright wine with furling acidity. It needs time in the glass, the decanter or the cellar, for it's perfume to develop and for the palate to broaden, it's definitely worth the wait though. Lodestone has sold out at the winery and is not easy to find, it's a beautiful wine, don't miss out. 96pts.

2023 Hurley Vineyard Hommage Pinot Noir - $90
Blue fruited, dark cherry, violet, blood orange and a back note of Oriental spiced meats, and a lovely whiff of sage, something I see year in, year out in Hommage. Brooding and full bodied with bracing acidity maintaining focus and driving, expansive tannins to finish. Kevin is happy with 95 points from the Real Review for this wine.

2023 Hurley Vineyard Garamond Pinot Noir - $110
The jewel in the crown, everybody loves Garamond. Think poise and grace; and all the lovely pinot things like rose, raspberries, compote strawberry, cranberry and blood orange and a delicate savoury background - a vine-age thing rather than a tertiary thing. Two hallmarks of great pinot - intensity without weight, and the fanning 'peacock's tail tannins', Garamond ticks both these boxes, it's no wonder Kevin is pleased with 97 points from the Real Review.
